Poudre School District serves approximately 1,500 students experiencing homelessness. The number of PSD families and youth experiencing homelessness continues to increase and their needs have risen exponentially. Currently, one out of every twenty students is experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity in our district. Information and teaching resources on supporting students experiencing homelessness can be found at the National Network for Youth, and  Learning for Justice sites. Local information about PSD can be found on the PSD website.  You can make a difference just by being aware of the issue and spreading that awareness to your sphere of influence such as family, friends, colleagues.
