I teach the only Spanish class offered at PCA.
I decided in high school that I wanted to be a Spanish teacher. I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder (Go Buffs!!!) and majored in both Spanish and Education. I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where I lived with a woman who couldn't speak a word of English. I am currently working on my Master's degree in teaching Spanish through the University of Northern Colorado and should be done in about three years.
I come from a family of incredible teachers. My grandma is my number one teaching inspiration, as she spent most of her life teaching Special Ed in an Ohio Middle School. My mom is also a teacher down in Denver, and we like to share stories and lesson plans!
I like to read, walk my dog, ski, and hang out with my friends and family! I also like to speak Spanish :)
My first job was teaching trumpet lessons to elementary students for money during high school. It taught me that I really liked teaching other people and working with them!
